    Key Laboratories of the Textile Industry are overseen by the China National Textile and Apparel Council. They constitute an important part of the technological innovation system in the textile industry and serve as key bases for conducting high-level scientific research, gathering and cultivating outstanding scientific and technological talents, carrying out high-level academic exchanges, and promoting the transformation of scientific and technological achievements.    

    The primary tasks of these Key Laboratories are to focus on the major project construction and the strategic goals of scientific and technological development in the textile industry; conduct research on applied basic technologies, major key technologies, forward-looking technologies, and related public welfare technologies; solve technical problems in the development of the textile industry; and provide support for enhancing the innovation capability of the textile industry and the sustainable development capability of industrial science and technology.
